Hello!

Im back after my little crafty break with a DP2 challenge card, this week the challenge is Lace, with a mo image.

I used one of her teenage fairys. The papers are K and Company.

I stamped green swirls onto this flower.

Saturday is the big day, my birthday! Im pretty excited, and as a thank you to followers, i will be having some blogcandy!

Tilda challenge card

Good morning,

Today i am posting my tilda card which i have made for 3 challenges.

It uses Tilda with bunny, an easter design which i have used more for spring in this card, pretty pink and antique white papers [ with a small amount of lilac] from nitwit collections and a computer printed sentiment.

Coloured as ever using promarkers.

Embellishments: Paper doily, antique white lace and pearls. [ cute ]

Todays post is a card i made using a mix of k&company papers, Making cards magazine papers and sentiment, and a Saturated canary image.

The main colour pallete was tan, Red and pale blue.

Sweet Crazy Love Wall Hanger

Afternoon everyone!

Today i have another post, featuring the Magnolia collection, Sweet Crazy Love.

It is a wall hanger made out of board from some presents from christmas, simply recycled.

3 plaques, all held together with binding rings and raffia.

The papers are from the Popcorn Romance cd rom by Crafters Companion, i added paper doilys and Tattered Rose distress ink around the papers. Each character is glossed with embossing powder.

This plaque has a mix of Prima flowers and ribbon buds.I added blue pearls to bring out edwins hat and jeans.

My faviourite. Cupid. I used rub-ons to write cupid in the corner and opposite added a K&company swirl and a cluster of flowers and pearls, including a pearl heart.

Each image was coloured using promarkers, my cupid is ivory and vanilla so he came up pale with a golden glow.

To start the new month, i created this card.

These pale, pastel papers came from simply homemade magazine.

I coloured Pricilla to match the colours and i think she turned out pretty well.

I added lace and a flower from a new pack.

This is the card i have made for 2 challenges, firstly, saturated canarys die cut and/or punch and passion for promarkers recycling.

For recycling, i have used kraft carstock from a parcel i recived.

I have used a die cut swirl

and this flower was punched! I used a new EK Sucess punch which creates flowers.

WARNING!! A faviourite card of 2012!

I think this is one of my best cards! Dont ask me why, because im not completly sure myself, maybe its the colours, maybe its the fact i added pearls, { i love my embellis!] or the image, or even the way its layed out.

6x6 as usual, using papers from my Up,Up and Away paper pad, which i've nearly run out of! AHHHH!

This image has to be one of my faviourites from Saturated Canary. I probibly say that about most of them, but there all so cute!

Going British with Saturated Canary

Hello,

Before i start, just to say there are some new cards on my house mouse blog ifanyone fancies having a look.

Anyway, today, im going all British with the Potobello Road collection from docrafts and a Saturated canary digi.

I made this using a scalloped edge 6x6 card and matting the blue spots paper. Then i added the red mat from the die cuts pack and added my digi.

I added a sentiment and some candy and a union jack bow.

Hi Everyone!

Well i've spent the last couple of days getting sorted and making some great new cards using some Saturated Canary digis, including the some of the new ones!

So to begin with is this one, using the new digi, Pricilla Pie.

For this card, i used my brand new K and Company 360 sheet 12x12 paper pad!!! I love their designs and there are so many to choose from, from vintage to modern.

I also used my tattered rose distress ink and my christmas distressing tool.

I added lace and roses, as well as a pearl twirl that i handstuck each one. I also added the sentiment, stamping it in the tattered rose and then black, to give it a shadow.

PROMARKERS USED:

Oatmeal, Blush and Satin - Skin

Tan, Cinnamon and Cocoa - Hair

Ivory, Pastel beige and Dusky rose - Outfit.

Next, i have used

This card is more girly modern, using pink, lavendar and orange.

I again used some K and company papers.

Its Frizzy Jinx again!

This time i used the First edition: New Leaf paper pad.

I backed each layer on kraft and added some orange roses and a large brown Magnolia Dahlia.

Pastel beige, cocoa, pear green, honeycomb and pastel blue - Outfit.

This sentiment is from some old K and company kits i found left over, it matched the colours realy well.

This is my Copica Doorhanger for your craftroom.

It uses papers from a freebie kit over at shabby princess, called express yourself which is full of notepapers, pastel colours, even pen embelishments, like what i have used on the edges.

Why when you are..........

Looking through your embelishment boxes and bags do you always have to search right to the bottom, before you find the thing you were after???

It happens everytime! You look for something that you know is there somewhere, but its always the last thing you pick up!

Last night, we went through all our ribbon bag and our button box to see what we were in need of. The night before, i went through all the embeliie boxes and bags, and isnt it odd how you always find stuff you had forgotton about? I found loads of sentiments, which at the minute are my faviourite things. I just love different ways of saying one thing. My faviourite at the minute is:

A dream is a wish your heart makes

Isnt it sweet? Its perfect for valentines or even wedding cards.

So, unfortunatly, i have no card or project to show you today, being busy sorting after all, but i would like to let you on on my next project that will be on here soon...

It involves the lovely Sweet Crazy Love collection from Magnolia, and it will be a wall hanging project, but thats all im going to say....

I hope you'll all like it.

Well, this week i have used some of my christmas money on some more Tilda stamps.

This is my first card, using the loving bridal couple.

I went for a cream/ivory colour theme. This buterfly and the pearls match perfectly.

This has to be one of the BEST challenges!! I love buttons and lace, any embellishments!

My creation uses a Saturated Canary image.

The papers are a download from Shabby Princess, all matted in different directions. I then added the shabby looking lace.

I added a sentiment and then 6 little orange and pale yellow buttons onto the image. The dancing gypsy image is coloured with promarkers.

Hi everyone,

This is my entry for the Clean and Simple challenge over at the Saturated Canary challenge blog.

I simply uploaded the digi and sentiment into my docrafts digital designer and placed them onto a 6x6 peice of card.

Once printed, i trimed slightly and matted onto a square mirror board matt and then coloured using promarkers.

I coloured the stars and added 3 pearls underneath to create this clean and simple design.

Good morning!

Well i hope everyone enjoyed their christmas, i did, apart from coming down with a cold on christmas day!!!!!!! Which i still have, but its getting there, i hope!

Well, do you want to see what crafting goodies i got??

I got some Helz cuppleditch Neighbourwood papers, stamps, brads and gems, fruit and nuts house mouse decoupage, 2 Tina Wenke mouse stamps, a Martha Stewart flower edge border punch,a New leaf paper pad, some pastel whispers pens, my first Magnolia club stamps!!! Yay! and this amazing EK sucess punch that makes flower embelishments. I also recived 2 comic art promarker packs.

This is only the craft stuff i recived, but i got plety of other things too.

Anyway, to my challenge card

It uses Dani doing her christmas shopping and i used a snowflake punch. It isnt one of my best, but i made on christmas eve so it will do for now.

Hi Again,

Seeing as i dont think i'll be able to post again before christmas, i thought i would show off the rest of my cards using Saturate Canary digis.

Firstly,

This is Frizzy Jinx. When i first saw this digi, i thought of these hideaway papers. There very hippy like and free spirit, and i think of her as that.

I think her frizzy ginger hair realy suits her too!

Next,

Teresa the princess. I chose my up, up and away paper pad. That paper pad makes me think of creativity, doodling and dreams.

I added plenty of flowers and a charm in the shape of a crown that says Princess.

Satin/blush

Winnie and her caravan. I think if i could choose a image which was most like me it would be this one. It reminds me of summer days spent at the beach with the caravan. Again i used my up, up and away papers and even made bunting out of leftovers.

Mainly same as the last card, but for hair, buttercup and pale yellow and for the van, pastel beige, using slate for the wheel.

Going Gypsy,

Now, if i could some this up in one word, it would be vibrant! Look at the colours! Anyway, this is dancing gypsy. The papers i used were from simply homemade magazine and are called Gypsy sister {Well suited huh?! } The papers match realy well with this image. I only used one paper on this card, as well as some bright magenta coloured ribbon and some pretty petals.

3 Days till Christmas Eve

Good morning!

The weekend is drawing closer, and i get more excited by the day!

Todays post is another Saturated Canary card made with one of my 3 new digis.

Cute, huh?

This is Hayley and Harley. I love this image as i think the piggy is so cute! I love pigs!

For this card i went for a black and pink theme with just a tiny bit of green in the mix.

As usual, the image is coloured with promarkers, which i'll list below. I matted the striped 4x4 peice of paper onto black card and turned it so it looked like a diamond.

I added card candy to the bottom left and top right corners.

I used the slate instead of black so you could see the lines of her hair and things, whereas if i had covered it in black you wouldnt of seen it.

Kraft- y Colour in!

Good morning!

Only 4 days left till christmas eve, woohoo!!! I've finally finished wrapping my gifts, as well as helping my mum with hers, now all i have to do is wait a couple more days to make my gingerbread men and chocolate truffles. Yum!

Anyway, this is not a christmas post, its a Kraft one.

Since looking a few months ago at Dorcas's blog and seeing her stamped images on kraft, i have wanted a go. I thought i would have to buy a certain type of pencil but i was wrong! Just look.......

This is my first attempt. I used the dancing Gypsy digi from Saturated Canary and printed her onto a 6x6 peice of Kraft.

But the kraft wasnt bought in a packet, it was a roll in some wrapping paper! So you could say i recycled!

I coloured the image with some watercolour pencils i had had for years and used to use them lots before i became a promarker fan.

I was suprised how easily the colour showed up.

The papers are from first edition Hideaway collection and flowers from my crafters companion pretty petals stack.

Anyway, i will leave each post with this message..

Saturated Canary Card

I used a 6x6 cream coloured card and backed the gypsy sister papers onto indigo card. I also did the same to the image. It is coloured in with promarkers. I added a matching sentiment and some wooden material flowers in the corner.

TIP: When colouring skin, if you want more of a tan look, use oatmeal around the edges of the face and where you want shade and then used blush for the rest.

Now i can go and use my two new digis!!

Good Morning!

Well it's 12 days to go, can you belive it?? This years seems to have gone so fast. Well today i have a few posts for different challenges, i made most of them a couple of days ago and was meant to post them yesterday, but i was away getting my last jab, ouch!

So to start with, here is my DP2 entry.

I went BIG! This is my tag i created. It uses the little urchin image. I also used traditional coloured papers and a large pointsettia, along with 2 metal holly leaves and one bell.

Hello!

My creation for the promarkers celebration challenge is this....

It is a giftbox for a flower girl/bridesmaid.

I remember when i was a bridesmaid, 8 years ago, i was given a gift for being a special person on the day, so i created this box.

The lavendar coloured box came from a gift my mum got a while ago and she allowed me to use it for this project.

I layered silver mirri, purple card and the lavendar coloured paper on and added a large thick ribbon and bow.

The tilda image is matted on the same card as the base, coloured in with promarkers.

I added three pearls to the front too.

Im sure any flower girl/ bridesmaid would be pleased to recive this.

I also made a card to match.

Hanging Around { Post 101!}

Hello!

Well, christmas is just around the corner and the tree is up! YAY!

For christmas this year, i decided to make some of my own gifts, so i have, starting with this:

Not much is it? Well you'd be right, its a single peice of grungeboard. It suprised me how flexible it realy was to be called board. But with a lick of paint and some decoration, i created:

Now for everyone who watched the last Joanna Sheen Shows, you would of seen this kind of thing be made. I painted it soft peach and once dry { 20 mins at most! } I started to decorate.

I printed out a backing paper, decoupage sheet and caligraphy sheet from the Jane Shasky cd rom.

This is my decoupage

This is the caligraphy topper. I also added three buttons and a shovel charm to the raffia ribbon.

I made this for my aunt and uncle who im sure would love this in their kitchen.

That isnt the only one though, oh no, i created another one for my friend Charlotte.

This time i used the Joanna Sheen Enchanted Dreams cd rom and printed off a topper sheet and backing paper. I painted this one in a metalic blue { Oooh } and then added the paper. { By the way, the papers are stuck with pinflair glue gel, flattened rather than lumps.}

I sprayed my topper with crafters companion glitter spray to make it shiny and added three colour matching flowers in the bottom corner, i used silver card candy for the middles.

Then using some alphabet a added this, which eas already glittery.

So thats it, easy.

Hi!

Today's card is made using a digi from Saturated Canaries on ETSY.

The image is called Nevaeh. I've used a paper from the free Gypsy sister collection in Simply Homemade magazine. The script design was on vellum, which i then stuck onto cream card. The lace came from a local haberdashery shop.

The flowers are a collection, some from joanna sheen and some from boyes.

The Be Original sticker came from a kit a while ago and i added 3 pearls just to add dimension.

I've found these digis realy cute and girly and hope to get many more!!

The next post will be on on monday, ready for the new challenge over at cutie pie!!

This is my card for the charm challenge over at cutie pie this week.

I've used a gardening rabbit image from Helz Cuppleditch and Up Up and Away papers from trimcrafts first editions.

I've created a trellis design using a Martha Stewart punch and added blue and pale lemon roses, along with raffia and the 3 charms.

{ You dont have to use 3, i just chose too }

I used a shovel , tree and watering card charm, attatched with raffia.

The image is teenage fairy pia from digital pencil too.

I made the card on a 6x6 scallop square and added silver mirri to my backing paper and image.

I used lilac fibres and 3 buttons.

Good morning everyone,

I know im a day or so late, but eventually i made a card for the DP2 challenge, furry animals.

I used the image, Patience, and made a 5x7 top fold card by cutting in half a 5x7 and scoring about 2 inches from the top.

I went for a blue, green and brown theme, using my Up,Up and Away papers and added a green and blue striped ribbon.

Sorry i havent posted for a while, we've been away at the van again, just one more visit and then closed for six months :{

Anyway, im here to post my entrys for some of this weeks challenges, including Passion for promarkers
and DP2.

My first is for the Bears challenge over at Passion for promarkers.

It uses a Helz cuppleditch stamp, Parker the panda.

The papers are time for tea from trimcraft.

My next card is for Mo's Dp2 challenge. Celebrations!

Mine is a 18th birthday invitation, along with RSVP

It uses the party girl image, the modern paper comes from a crafters companion cd: everyday.

This is the inside, you can see the RSVP that has been perforated too.

My colour scheme is black, silver and purple.

Good morning,

I hope everyone is well, today i am posting my DP2 challenge card. The theme this week was Back To School, which gave me a chance to get a new image!

Using image 'Berkeley' i created this modern, bright and bold card. The papers are from First edition: Hideaway collection. If you look closley you may see that the white teared panel has the alphabet written on it, which i thought was so cute! The main paper, like the image is backed on yellow and orange card.

I coloured the image using promarkers:

Honeycomb

Buttercup

Canary

I think that this would help cheer up any student!

Hello,

I thought i would share my challenge entry today.I made up a christmas card using a Kanban stamp.
The background was created using a stamp, which i then coloured with promarkers. It was matted onto red and green card to make it stand out.

The white panel down the left side is embossed with snowflakes, which i made using another stamp.

I then backed that onto green card and added a ribbon, sentiment and some pearls.

P.S I have also found out i have just won some Blog candy over at Natalie's blog, NGCards.

Good morning,
Today i would like to share my entry for this challenge, which i realy enjoyed making.

This is my easle card. It uses the Bella and Bronte 'tabbogan' image.

I decided to create a christmas card, which is something different.

I coloured the image using promarkers. The christmas papers are quite new and are a dovecraft product. I used two papers, one patterened and the other striped.

I added five snowflakes, in different sizes to the side of the image.

I also typed up a little insert.

Cupcakes!

I realy enjoyed making this card. The cupcake paper came from a old QVC kit as well as the sentiment.

I coloured the cupcakes to match the ones on the paper and the fairy in yellow. Although you probibly cant see it , there are little bits of glitter on the cupcakes and fairy.

Good afternoon!
Well, yesterday i went to put some new cards onto the computer and found out my wire connecting the two has broke! Oh No! So for todays post, i am putting on a picture i took over the weekend at scarbrough. It wasent the best day, but i take photos whatever the weather.
Then today, my dad went to town and came back with a BRAND new camera! Its only been in shops a couple of days and nowhere else has it. It is completly different from my older one as it has special zoom lenses and everything. It will take some practise and getting used too, but i cant wait to try it!

Today i am sharing the card i've made for my grans birthday which is tomorrow {17th}

This is a 8x8 card, the paper is backed with red card and has a gingham red ribbon around the centre.

The decoupage also is backed on red card. I chose this design because the dog looks a bit like my grans dog, Scamp. [And its a girl]

Good morning,

Yesterday i recived a letter from my best friend, Charlotte, explaining how she had now finished all her exams and had left school. That got me thinking, i could make a 'congratulations on graduating from school' card. So i printed of my toppers and papers ready, and then i thought why dont i add something to it, like a gift in a card? So here is my finished creation.

I made a 6x6 easel card and backed it with pink card. I then got a smaller square card and backed that with pink, before covering with the matching stripey paper.

This shows how it looks form the top card. I added some buttons to make it stand out.

I found some old sticky notes that hadent been used and attatched them with tape, while adding the 'congratulations' sentiment.

This is the insert.

Good morning everyone,

This weeks challenge over at DP2 is Vintage: Distress and Lace.
I struggled at first as we don't realy do much distressing or vintage, but then i came up with this.

Yes, it uses the same image i used for the story/poem challenge but does'nt it show how versitile the images are???

The paper came free in a magazine, the image was coloured with promarkers and then distressed around the edges. The sentiment too came in a magazine. I used some ivory/cream lace and made a border before attatching with musical note brads.

Good afternoon,
My project today is a lili of the valley card. Its made using my new stamps. I realy like the new Oh So Girly range so i have three of those and one of the boys collection.

This card uses my minds eye papers, a Martha stewart punch, Some green ribbon, some turqouise coloured card, a sentiment, main image and some sequin flowers, including the large pink one.

The image is coloured with promarkers. The colours are:

Almond

Blush

Buttercup

Pale blue

Meadow green

Sandstone

Rose pink

Red

The sketch is quite simple, but it looks very effective and busy even though there isnt much on. Im realy happy with the result, please feel free to try it out and let me know.

Good Morning,

I spent all of last night creating my challenge card. My inspiration is from the fairytale, Hansel and Gretal.

It took me a while to think of a book, because although i read a lot, i had to find a digi that went.

I used the brother and sister digi and created a background using aqua markers.

The main image is coloured with promarkers. I chose the colours, pastel green, rose pink, pear, cocoa, blush and almond. These colours matched the paper used for my second layer, which are from a my minds eye collection. The brown backing paper actually has a wood effect, although it doesnt realy show up that well.

The sentiment reads: 'Hoping today is perfectly lovely'

The pastel green and brown flower are from my colection of pretty petals, and the small pink ribbon flowers are papermania. I added a pearl to the large flower.

Good morning,

Well, over this weekend i have been busy stamping with my freebie Sheena Sketchy stamps and sharing my mums birthday aqua markers and painting.

Sorry it's slightly blured. This is how my box starts, just a plain wooden box.

Then i crackled it, using the technique from the paint fushion dvd.

My next step is to paint the design, which i plan to do today.

This year i am making a handmade/homemade christmas. I plan to make gifts for all my family using both paint fushion and my sewing book from christmas. The only thing im struggling with is what to make for my little cousin who is 4 this year and the new baby cousin who should arrive in august/september.

Before i go i would just like to share some of my paint fushion boards.

My berries need some flecks of white, but this was my first try at them.

Hello everyone,

Well, after leaving all of the cards we made on holiday in the van,i have made a card using my new Tilda range { Not magnolia tilda}

I used some plain pink paper to back everything on, before using a sheet of blue with white swirls on with a strip of lace across the middle.I then added the rose garden layer of paper, adding the toppers on to it. The bunting is great for corners.

The sentiment is written in a pretty font.

and the tilda image is realy pretty.

I havent had the chance to post much this week as i have been unwell, but im getting better now, just in time for my holiday, so i still wont be posting much:(

I love both of our new cd roms, being an animal and cute picture lover!
I've also been busy making a scrapbook for my grans birthday with her lovely dog on. She's a real cutie!

Its been a busy couple of weeks, especially with Digby as he went to the vets this week for a check up and his vaccines {Like me} so he felt pretty sorry for himself, but a play on the garden with his spongeball soon made him happy again.
   I hope i will get to show you more creations soon, im now going to do loads of printing, ready for tomorrow.

Tilda in the rain

Good morning!

Well today i am going to show my Tilda card i made on saturday.

The paper comes from grandmas button box cd rom. The doily effect is a punch, then we have a strip of embossed flowers with ribbon and a bow. The image is stamped in a 3 1/2 in circle. The big yellow rose is from the wedding area in hobbycraft, the red ones from joanna sheen and the little ones from Boyes. The sentiment is from cuddly buddly.

Green and Pink Tilda

Good morning,

Today, my post is about one of my first Tilda cards.

It uses Tilda in the rain, which is stamped in a punched 3in circle. The sentiment came from cuddly buddly downloads. The paper came free in a magazine, and the white embossed spotty card i made with a embossing board.

'The little things bring joy to the heart'

I used some white ribbon, which i coloured with promarkers and wrapped 2 peices around the card.

I used one green pretty petal and the rest are silk flowers.

I decided to try a Tilda card as they seem so popular on the docrafts gallery.

Something i am excited about is the new Joanna Sheen cd rom, launching on sunday! I will be ordering as soon as i see it! Hopefully it will get here before our next holiday.

Bella and Bronte

This is another card made with the Bella and Bronte image.

I focused on greens and ivory for this card. The sentiment is from cuddly buddly downloads. The paper comes from a cd called grandma's button box. The ribbon came from a pack of cards, which i opened and wrapped around my card twice to make two rows. The flowers, the two ivory ones are from woodware and the green and ivory middle ones from my pretty petals. This is one of my faviourite images, i can't wait to get more!

This one is based on pinks, i dont think this one is as good as my first, but its different.

Both are coloured differently.

Good morning eveyone!
Well it is a terrible rainy monday today but i bought out the local wildlife! Me, mum and Digby were walking along the canal when three or four water voles came out and bagan eating some new shoots. It was the first time we had seen them close up. We also saw some ducks and their new ducklings, very cute!
Anyway, on to todays post. I have been inspired to make these cards when we visited whitby during the Goth weekend.

This is a pretty simple card, a 6x6 in size, covered in a red paper with a panel of wripped coredinations card and the topper coloured in using promarkers: satin, blush, black, and red.

Then it was stuck to the panel, and i added some pretty petals and a flower from my mums joanna sheen flowers. For the middles i added red and black pearls.

For this card i used the same size card, and a different colour scheme. Its the same image but insted of red i used maroon. I then added some pretty petals,pearls and a sentiment.

These cards are both very different from my usual style, but i think they turned out well.

Good morning eveyone!
Hope you are all well. Today my cards are showcasing images from www.digitalpenciltoo.com using images from Mo Manning which i only found yesterday.

This card uses the image Rae with journal which comes in a multibuy with the other two i have used.

I used a new paper block which includes pinks and greens and placed the flowery on to my base card [6x6]. Before having a strip of pink stripe. I printed the digi image and used our 3in circle punch. I then coloured in my image with promarkers: Meadow green, rose pink,blossom, ginger, lime green,lavendar, ice grey, satin and blush.

I added flowers in the top left corner and added a spare tatty teddy sentiment.

Onto my next one, which uses 3 colours.

This one uses a paper out of another new paper block. My next image is psst Dani and Taylor.

I coloured the image using promarkers: pale green, black,buttercup and pale yellow, cocoa,satin and blush and ice grey.

The paper flowers come from a trimcraft collection and pretty petals. The ribbon came from a local sewing shop. I punched the image into a scalloped circle 2. 1/2in.The sentiment was written on the computer.

My next one is using image Jordan multitasking.

Yet again i used pink and green papers. The image was coloured using promarkers: Satin and blush, henna, rose pink,lime green and blossom.

The flowers are from a trimcraft collection . Once i had punched the image in my 3in circle, i stuck it with flat tape,so the flowers lay over the top. The sentiment again came from my computer.

NOTE: Although you may not see the name label on the toppers, because i punched them they were missed out, but i will stick it on as they would like to see it on the artwork. As you can see above, i have stuck it under the shoes.

Although you cant realy see [ sorry,my camera is acting up] the mermaid has been sprayed with glitter spray.

I created these because of my cousin having a baby in august and it will be another boy.
