Catch the Bug Wednesday Tutorial: Fairy Stepper Card

Hello,
It's my turn to share a tutorial today for Catch the bug and I'm sharing how to make this fairy stepper card.

Items you will need:
2 sheets white card
2 sheets pale green pearl card
Bella trio and Kidz fairy sitter images from Bugaboo
First edition lets celebrate paper pad
Acetate
Alcohol markers
Die cutting machine with oval and circle nest dies
Ribbon
Ultimate pro or a scoreboard
Pearls
Double sided tape, ruler, pencil, silicone glue, foam pads and scissors.

Step 1: Take an A4 piece of white card and using an ultimate pro, score down the half fold A4 line then turn to landscape and score down the half A4 again. Fold and then cut the remaining bottom strip off, this should leave you with a 6x6 square.
Step 2: Place your 6x6 back on the board and score down the  front on the gatefold A4 line, then fold. This leaves you with the stepper element.
TIP: If you'd rather you could use a pre made 6x6 card and just continue from step 2.
Step 3: Create your green mats. One measuring 14.9 mm x 15mm and a strip measuring 14.9 x 7.2mm.
Step 4: Put your most patterned design paper to the back as you will see much more if it. Cut it to 14.5x 14.5 mm and stick to the green mat. Next using your second design, cut a peice measuring 7 x 14.2 mm then adhere to the green strip.
Attach your ribbon to your strip wrapping it securely around your layer, then adhere both layers to your card.
Step 5: Print out your digi images. For my card I used fairy kidz and fairy trios. Using a computer programme, make your trio's quite small. Colour your images then die cut your fairy in an oval along with a slightly larger green mat. Using the nesting circles, cut our two smaller circles for your trio's.
( nesting circle sizes vary so find out which fits your image and cut two from the green card. We will only be using two images from the trio's.) Cut out two of the trio images by hand and adhere to your green mats.
Step 6: Create two acetate springs by folding two strips of acetate into three sections, fold and you should find you have a spring element. Attach the trio images onto them and attach to your card, one at the back and one on the stepper.
Step 7: You'll see that your card doesn't stand up but DONT WORRY , you stick this to another 6x6 base card. You can either make one using our first step or use a pre made one, making sure to stick it to a tent fold base.
Step 8: embellish however you like.

I hope you have enjoyed my tutorial, if you have any questions leave a comment!
