Concertina Fold Pop Out Tutorial

Hello,
Last week i posted a House Mouse baby card that featured a concertina pop out section inside and i was emailed by a lady who wanted to know how i made it so i have made a little tutorial.
At the bottom of the post i will list the items needed to make the card as well as just the concertina part.

1:

1. Take an A4 sheet of white card and trim it down into 2 4in x 8in pieces.
Fold each piece in half to create a 4x4 card. Make 3.

2:

2:

 2. Take one of the cards and stick double sided tape to both sides, then stick the remaining cards to each side, creating a concertina. This is the inside pop out section.
TIP: When making this part, using a thinner card helps as it wont make the card stick up too much which is useful if sending in the post. I used 160 gsm.

3:
3:Decorate the concertina with papers or like mine, images.
If you visit the house mouse card i made last week you will see i decorated with papers and stuck on images whereas with this card i have used toppers.
Keep the 4th panel free and stick a diecut circle on for people to write their message on.

4.

4: Turn the concertina over and stick double sided tape on the ends of the concertina, ready to put inside.

5:

5:Decorate your 6x6 card with papers. This is important as it will be visible.

6:

Stick your concertina onto the right side first in the centre.
Peel off the tape on the concertina and then press the left side of your card down. Open up to reveal the pop out.

House Mouse: Special Baby

Hello,
I have a special make to share that would be perfect for a new baby featuring the Happy Hopper images.
On the front it looks like a normal 6x6 card, but inside features a special pop out section.
The front of my card features the Hopper image of Hopper with pramful of Bunnies, so cute. I added a heart shaped doily, ribbon, lace and pearls to embellish.

I used DCWV Princess papers which are perfect for baby girls. I havent actually specified a gender but as you can see it features pink, cream and green.
I created the pop out section by making a concertina 4x4 card. I then matted my papers, stamped some of the smaller Hoppers, coloured them and stuck them on the inside. I also die cut letters to create the NEW BABY in green and added white circles, one at the back to write your message.
I was planning on making a matching envelope but ran out of time.

Challenges:

Giraffe

Hello,
My second post for today features a card i have made using one of the stamps from Pink Ink Designs. I love their stamps and have only recently found them so i had a little spending spree!
This is one of the images, Giraffe. I love this image, especially when you add the pair of glasses to it, it makes a really fun card. The image is actually quite long so i did cut away some of the neck so it would fit on this 6x6 card.
I created a crossfold card featuring these bold and bright papers from The Works. I die cut an oval of the green and stamped one of the leaf designs from the stamp set. The set gives you many mini stamps too.
I stamped my giraffe, coloured with promarkers and cut out then adhered to my card.
On the inside i created a tag featuring the sentiment that comes with the set and stamped the flower which also comes with the stamps on the paper and finished with a flower and some leaves.
