Hello,
Today I have a friendship card to share using the image we go together from Digital pencil too. I love this image as it reminds me of me and my best friend when we were younger. 
I coloured my image with spectrum noirs and prism markers for the skintones. 
The papers came from a pad from The works, matted on black.
I added ribbon, flowers and the coordinating sentiment.

Hello,
Today I have a circular easel card to share featuring one of the hedgehog images from Di's digi downloads.
I used first edition papers and die cut my image into a oval. My image is coloured with spectrum noirs.
I added ribbon, a bow, flowers and a sentiment.

New Baby Hedgehog


 

Hello,
Anyone who has followed my blog has most likely seen these cute Di's digi downloads Hedgehog images before as they are one of my FAVOURITES to use.
I won this one a while back and dont think i have used it until now, but looking at it the other day inspired me to make this cute baby card.
I coloured my image with promarkers and diecut.
The papers are DCWV princess stack. I added pretty ribbon and lace, a doily, flowers, buttons and a sentiment to finish.

Hello,
Today i have a fantasy card to share featuring this Dragon in egg image.
Ive had this image for a while after been given it to use on a DT and kept it as it has come in useful. I know there are lots of people who love their fantasy tv so this image is perfect for them.
I coloured it with spectrum noirs and added stickles.
The papers are DCWV and i added pearls and a sentiment from Crafters companion's Molly Harrison Stamps.

Hello,
It's time for a new challenge over at Creative inspirations and this month's challenge is for a male.
I used a collection from The paper boutique that features nautical images. I used one of the larger toppers and some of the smaller ones from the embellishments pad. I finished with a sentiment and some ribbon.

Hello,
This image came from Saturated Canary a while ago and ive only used it once before, but i thought this was a great summery image.
I coloured it with promarkers and diecut. The floral paper came from a pad from The Works and to embellish i added pearls, lace and flowers.

Gardening Hedgehogs


 
Hello,
Today I have a nice summery card to share.
While staying at home I'm sure a lot of you have been in the garden, I know I have now we finally got some plants and my seeds have began to here more! Unfortunately due to my hayfever flaring up I can the out long at the moment.

These hedgehog images are from Di's digi downloads and are my favourite characters from there. They are always so popular.
I coloured mine with promarkers and used crafters companion summer breeze papers. I added prima marketing flowers, ribbon and a sentiment to finish.

Challenges: 

Flowers! I love flowers and if I can't add them to a card in not happy!
I love adding a little price of nature to my cards.

Hello,
Today I have a quick cat themed card to share.
I made this 7in card using DCWV papers, matted on black. The cool cat sentiment and image comes from the polka doodles kit Horace and Boo.
I blew up the sentiment so it's one of the main focused if the cars. I also added ribbon and a bow to finish.

This is the first time ive used it, and just like the mice ive been having a go at watercolours myself.

The first is a thinking of you card which I kept very simple. The second is a birthday and is much more colourful, although I kept the colours the same for both.

Here is another house mouse card. I have one more left to share.
I used popcorn mice for this card and matched it with some K and co papers. Because the image takes up nearly the whole width of the card, I kept it simple, adding just ribbon and a sentiment.

Gumdrops

 

Hello,
A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to win over at the House Mouse challenge and won two stamps from Lorraine.

This is one of the images, gumdrops. I coloured my image with promarkers and kept it simple. With it being a large image, I just had one multi coloured paper and an embossed panel. I finished with ribbon, a bow and a sentiment.

Over the past few weeks i have been making loads of House Mouse cards.
This image, which is a digi from the cd rom is one of my favourites. I write a lot of letters myself so it reminds me of that.
I coloured it with promarkers and matched it with Prima marketings poetic rose papers.

A Special Mouse

 

Hello,
Back again with my third card of the day. This time i have a house mouse card to share featuring one of the digi image from the cd rom that i have made for this weeks Flowers challenge. This is my favourite theme so i had to join in!

This image is so sweet and goes perfect for any romantic occasions. I made this one as an anniversary card. I coloured mine with spectrum noirs.

I used first edition blank canvas papers in the peach and cream tones, i also embossed one of the panels with a floral folder. 
I added ribbon, lace and some handmade diecut flowers and pearls.

Today i have a card to share featuring this sweet Wee stamp digi image from Whimsy Stamps. Wee stamps are one of my favourites as they are just so sweet!
I coloured my image with promarkers and matched to Crafters Companion summer breeze papers.
I embsllished with lace and ribbon, pearls and a sweet sentiment from a penguins stamp set from Whimsy stamps.

Doesn't this toddler just look so happy in this image from Digital pencil too?
I coloured my image with promarkers and created and easle card using Crafters Companion natures garden spring papers. I added lilac ribbon, lace, handmade diecut flowers and a spring sentiment.

For this house mouse card i used quite muted tones. The papers are from a Crafters Companion paper pad. I made my card 5 1/2x 5 1/2 in so that my topper over hung slightly.
I diecut my flowers and added pearls, ribbon and a sentiment.

Rosie

 

Hello,
I decided to join in with The Ppaer shelter Challenge this week, which theme is birthday.

I made this card using the image Rosie, coloured with spectrum noirs and promarkers.
Ive been trying to use up old paper pads and these papers came from a K and Co stack.
I die cut my own flowers from the same papers and added pearls, ribbon and lace and a sentiment to finish.

Hello,

At the moment its nice to send a little note to friends and family to let them know your thinking about them or just to say hello.
Ive been doing this with my friends and this is one of the smaller, CAS cards i made.

I used an old DCWV card set which are smaller than A6 and made this sweet little note.
I printed and cut out Winston bear from Polkadoodles and coloured with promarkers.
I diecut a heart aperture and stamped a sentiment inside.

Lilac and Aqua

 

Hello,
This week I decided to join in with the paper shelter challenge.
I've had this image for a while and never used it, but an idea for this card just came to me so I made it!
I coloured my image with spectrum noirs and die cut into an oval.
I used crafters companion vintage lace papers, matted on matching card and made my own flower with the same papers.
I added a bow, pin and jewel to match the one on the image, pearls and a sentiment.

Happy Easter everyone!

I dont usually make any easter cards anymore, but this year i thought it was a nice way of staying in touch with everyone.

I found this old Stampavie Ruffles at springtime stamp and coloured it up with promarkers.
I used dovecraft papers and kept it quite simple. I made my own flowers with a crafters companion die and added a bow and sentiment to finish.

House Mouse: Fish Bowl

 

Hello,
I printed out some house mouse digis a few weeks ago from the CD rom and this is the first one I used.
I think it might be the first time I've used this fishbowl image, coloured with spectrum noirs.

I used a DCWV paper pad which includes sparkly patterns.
I used the purple and green and added pearls, some seaweed like diecuts, which don't show up that well in the photo and a sentiment that I found that I thought went well.
I also added glitter to the gravel and some of the fish scales.

Scruffy Little Cat

 

Hello,
Being at home Ive had time a lot of time to look through the stamp box and find out some old stamps. I love using my usuals but sometimes you just need something different and this time i picked out the Scruffy Little Cat stamps from Crafters Companion. As far as i know they are no longer produced.

I coloured my image with promarkers and matched to the first edition blank canvas papers. I made my own flowers, { something ive done a lot lately }and added lace. I kept it sentiment free so i can choose once i need it.

Tractor Guy

 

Hello,
I hope everyone is keeping well.
Staying at home means there is plenty of time for crafting (or gardening) at the moment so I have a few cards to share over the next few weeks.

My first is tractor guy from digital pencil too.
I coloured my image with spectrum noirs and matted on black, then matched to a bunch of green papers. I embellished with pearls and some fabric covered brads.

Hello,
As you might have read in a previous post, I got some new house mouse stamps for my birthday a few weeks back and this was one of them. It's the kind of image that you can either stick to just a couple of colours, like this, or use loads with.

I coloured my image with spectrum noirs and matches it to some old DCWV papers. I embellished with pearls some ribbon and finished with a sentiment.

Wedding Couple Mice

 

Hello,
I have had a quite week this week when it comes to crafting what with vets visits so i can finally share this card. 
The House mouse wedding couple are always really popular so i created a special wedding card featuring them.
I used papers from the paper tree and added a heart doily, ribbon, lace and of course flowers.
The strip along the front is embossed but you cant quite see it on the front. As for the inside....


 

I added a church window aperture and embossed the entire inside with hearts.
In the window is a small oval which shows two mice sitting under confetti.

Gruffies Seed Easle Box


Hello,
Its my birthday tomorrow so i thought id better pop this card on today.
Today i have a card to share that i made over the weekend featuring one of my favorite Gruffie images from House Mouse Designs.
I created an easle box, an easle card on top of a box.
I made the box using centura pearl card and my crafters companion score board.
The card is matted in the same leaf green. I used Crafters companion Summer breeze papers and added white ribbon, pearls and flowers and diecut leaves to embellish.
The Relax, its just gardening sentiment came from one of my Joanna sheen House mouse stamp sets.
I diecut the image into an oval and coloured with promarkers.
As you can see from the picture below, im using the box to contain seeds, which would make a nice gift for a gardening friend.


 

Challenges:
Im an animal lover so choosing one was quite hard, but eventually i chose bears, mainly a panda.When i was younger i watched a documentary that mentioned how pandas were on their way to becoming endangered and i became so obsessed that for christmas my parents bought me a panda adoption.Seeing what so many animals are going through made me adopt lots from Lions, donkeys, dogs and now a Koala. It even led to me getting a Blue Peter badge when i was 11.

Sending love on your birthday

 
Hello,
This week I got out a few stamping bella images and had a play.
I used this bella image with heart balloons to create a birthday card. This image is so versatile, it could be used for Valentine's too.
I coloured it with spectrum noirs and matches to prima marketing Georgia blue papers. I stamped the matching sentiment and added ribbon, lace, flowers and pearls.
