House Mouse: Special Baby

I have a special make to share that would be perfect for a new baby featuring the Happy Hopper images.
On the front it looks like a normal 6x6 card, but inside features a special pop out section.
The front of my card features the Hopper image of Hopper with pramful of Bunnies, so cute. I added a heart shaped doily, ribbon, lace and pearls to embellish.

I used DCWV Princess papers which are perfect for baby girls. I havent actually specified a gender but as you can see it features pink, cream and green.
I created the pop out section by making a concertina 4x4 card. I then matted my papers, stamped some of the smaller Hoppers, coloured them and stuck them on the inside. I also die cut letters to create the NEW BABY in green and added white circles, one at the back to write your message.
I was planning on making a matching envelope but ran out of time.

My second post for today features a card i have made using one of the stamps from Pink Ink Designs. I love their stamps and have only recently found them so i had a little spending spree!
This is one of the images, Giraffe. I love this image, especially when you add the pair of glasses to it, it makes a really fun card. The image is actually quite long so i did cut away some of the neck so it would fit on this 6x6 card.
I created a crossfold card featuring these bold and bright papers from The Works. I die cut an oval of the green and stamped one of the leaf designs from the stamp set. The set gives you many mini stamps too.
I stamped my giraffe, coloured with promarkers and cut out then adhered to my card.
On the inside i created a tag featuring the sentiment that comes with the set and stamped the flower which also comes with the stamps on the paper and finished with a flower and some leaves.

Stamping Bella's

Is been a while since i shared anything for challenges but today i have 3 posts. Yay! Ive finally found time to make some cards.
My first 2 feature stamping bella images.

I made this wedding card using a lovely wedding image. I used Prima's Poetic rose papers, prima flowers, lace, ribbion, a heart shaped doily, pearls, die cut leaves and a sentiment.

My second card features one of the Curvy girls images. I used this image earlier on in the year to create a birthday card for my best friend. I used Prima Havanna papers, prima flowers, matching sentiment, ribbon and pearls to create this. Coloured with promarkers.

Creative Inspirations: anything goes

It's a new month and that means a new challenge over at Creative inspirations and this month's theme is anything goes.
We are sponsored by all dressed up and I used their image busy little bee on my card.
I matched it with some honeycomb based papers, a sentiment from a free stamp set and some diecut bees.

Creative inspirations: glitz and glam

It's been over a month since I shared anything due to many family issues. I've not really had the time to share or make much and I've left most of my DTs, which hasn't helped with my anxiety and I doubt I'll still have time but today I have a make for the new creative inspirations challenge, which this month is glitz and glam.

A few months ago I got into making plaques and found out my julie nutting dolls. For my birthday I got prima marketing papers and embellishments and decided to make this plaque, featuring 50's Audrey.
I paper peiced the dress from the Georgia blue papers, added a vellum sentiment, flowers, due cut leaves, pearls and lace.

I hope you join us and I look forward to finding out what you think of my make.

Id like to enter the following challenges:

The paper shelter: Birthday

I'm back to share my DT card for The paper shelter and this week's challenge is birthday.
I'm not sharing much at the moment due to family matters which mean me not having the time to craft as much.
For my card, I used the image Rosie which I cropped to fit into an oval. Coloured with promarkers.
I used some Prima papers, matted on black.
I added lace, ribbon, a doily, pearls and a sentiment.

Creative Inspirations Easter or Animals Challenge: Dogs!

This month's challenge over at Creative inspirations is Easter or animals. I chose to go with the animal theme.
I used these beautiful dogs life stamps from Hunkydory to create these 5x5 cards.

Schnauzer and Jack Russell.

West highland terrier and boxer

And of course a border terrier, just like my George.

I matched the cards with tartan papers, buttons and black card and coloured with spectrum noirs. I also have other breeds but I managed these in one aftenoon.

I like alcohol markers as they give a blended finish with no streaks.
