Altered Fairy House
Hello,
This is a fairy house I made while doing some mixed media projects.
I used papers to decorate the insides and added lace in the edges. A lot of the embellishments came from a craftbox box.
I added fairy charms, stars, butterflies, little bottles of fairy dust, letter tiles, fairy and unicorn figures and an mdf fairy door.

Tilda Sewing Shadow Box
Hello,
It's been over a week since I posted anything, I was so busy watching the tennis last week and then this week have been busy with some projects that I haven't had a lot of time.
Anyway, today I'm showing one of my projects, a pretty vintage sewing shadow box.
I bought this one from crafters companion and decorated using Tilda design papers and paper embellishments. I also lined the edges with lace.
This is the bottom of the shadow box, filled with bobbins, buttons, wooden mini pegs and paper embellishments.
I also added two metal corners.
In the centre, I used one of the Tilda dolls, more buttons, bobbins, a coat hanger charm and some scramble tiles. I also added some die cut flowers from the paper pad.
This is the top were I added a bunch of embellishments along with a crochet heart. There's more charms up here including a thimble and sewing machine.
Challenges:
I love using buttons as they make a great embellishment.
