Lilis little fairies: photo inspiration

 

I was inspired by the whole photo, making my own picket fencing out of grungeboard and painting it, adding roses, and choosing an image from the garden.

I found this image in one of the new sketchpads, and die cut my blossom shape. The image is coloured with promarkers, and papers are from one of the nitwit pads.

I added pearls and a sentiment, and roses.

Instead of my usual layered up and lots of embelishment style, i went simple. Using my minds eye Nutmeg papers, matted on kraft, and adding a die cut border.

I die cut my label 17 shape and stamped my Shopping tilda, coloured with promarkers.

I added flowers and buttons to finish.

Gardner Gayle

Finally, my Saturated canary stamps arrived yesterday from C&C, after 10 DAYS!!!

I used Gardner Gayle straight away, ive been waiting so long and deciding which 2 to get, and as well as this, i bought fairy wishes.

This card is for this fortnights saturated canary challenge, which is all things bright and beautiful, with an optional colour combo.

 

I used My minds eye papers, matted on kraft.

I added a corner full of flowers, with little magenta rosebuds sticking out, just like in her hair!

I also added ribbon and pearls and a sentiment.

I used Nitwit perfect pairs papers, matted on kraft, I then coloured my saturated canary image, and added a sentiment,ribbon and pearls to finish.

Today's card is for a couple of challenges

Tilda's Town -: Once upon a time

Simply Magnolia: pocket card

 

I used my dovecraft fairytales papers, matted on kraft. I also created borders using a die.

I stamped Tilda's castle and Fairy dust tilda and coloured with promarkers, adding sparkle.

I added lots of flowers and buttons to the outside.

Here you can see the pocket. Inside i created a little insert area, with a LOTV sentiment.

Canrds like this are great for adding things like gift vouchers or even money.

Today's second card is for a couple of challenges.

 

Midweek Magnolias- Copycat

I used Julie's card as inspiration, the cream colours, pearls, and the cupid image. I used Valentino from sweet crazy love 2012.

 

Ribbon Girl challenge- Colour challenge {Creams & Pinks}

 

I used Nitwit Country lady papers, matted on kraft.

I stamped LOTV Postmarks on my image, and used one of the stamps for the sentiment. I also added angel hair and flowers and pearls.

Wedding Mini Album

 

Hello,

Today i am posting this.

It is a mini album i created to celebrate my cousins 10th wedding anniversary.

I used docrafts capsule papers, flower ribbon and rhinestone swirls, from the hobbyhouse, as well as my alphabet dies, and quotes from scrapbook.com

The rhinestone swirls and white rose ribbon both came from my introductory candy prize from the hobbyhouse. It was a great candy, and im sure i'll be buying from them at some point!

*SMASH* Dressing The Stars

Hello,

So its that time again for my next *SMASH* post.

This one is about a day out i had recently while we were away for my birthday. Me and mum visited a exhibition, called dressing the stars, where we got to see outfits from some big films, like pirates of the caribbean, sense and sensibility, and more.

 

I added a kraft area for journaling on, out of a my minds eye 12x12 kraft card pack i got for christmas, which has loads of journal and scrapbook peices as well as patterns.

Because of it being april, and spring seems to have finally arrived, i entered a Layout challenge, which theme was spring/Easter

I chose to craete a smash page using these photos i took in april last year.

These are some of my faviourite photos, so icouldnt wait to smash them!

I used the pink smash book, and matted alll the photos on kraft, before writing up a bit about them.

 

Come back on Tuesday for another SMASH page, this time a double layout!

Saturated canary: Anything goes

 

I coloured this summer image with promarkers, and matted on kraft.

I then matted all my papers onto kraft, and added faux stitching to the edges. With the striped paper i created a pennant shape layer.

I added a sentiment, and a mix of flowers and leaves to finish.
