This is just a quick post. All of these cards were made with digi stamps from Karens doodles.

This is my faviourite, it reminds me of me.. a dog lover!

Another Tatty card

My mum says this is one of my best cards. Again a 6x6 scalloped edge square card. Add your basic paper to the front of the card. For the border i punched two rows of a Martha Stewart punch and stuck it together making sure it matched up. Once stuck, i stuck my decoupage on and added the flowers and sentiment at the top.

Tatty Teddy cards

This is a 6x6 square scalloped edge card.

The card was made using the new Tatty Teddy decoupage and paper collection.

The sketch was pretty simple to do, just layer your first paper, making sure its quite plain, on the front, then add your ribbon. Add your patterened design, make a layer and twist it a little bit.

Stick on your tatty teddy decoupage, making sure its straight and add little blue flowers, straight like the topper. Add the sentiment to the right side.

My new arrival card

This image is from Karen doodles. The spotty purple paper is from docrafts daisy and dandilion and the blue and purple is spare. The sentiment is from my computer, written up.

Im a Winner!

I'm just letting everyone know, i won the docrafts challenge 12th-18th. Im very happy!

My Happy Hoppers Easter Card.

I made this card for my cousin, Karen. It was made by using a happy hoppers decoupage from Joanna Sheen.

The flower paper is from an easter special magazine, and the green paper from docrafts Rose Garden papers.

The ribbon detail is a large lilac ribbon, with a yellow flowery ribbon on top to add more colour.

The sentiment came with the decoupage.

The large green and the two pink flowers come from the tea house range of papers and embelishments from Dovecraft. The yellow one came from pretty petals and the small multi white ones are just in our spares tub.

Hello everyone!

Well, i didnt come on yesterday as i wasent very well but im back, with this card

The idea comes from making cards magazine. I used some spare paper for the patchwork grass and over the weekend bought my first Martha stewart punch which is the fence on the card.

The leafy vines are stamped with little felt flowers attatched to the top.

This is one of my faviourite stamps, i love the new Helz cuppleditch range.

This is Bessie! My hand-drawn character. This is her in her mermaid image.

This is her with her friend/sister, yet to be named.

With grandma Mavis. And the girl on the right is a friend, but hasnt realy been created yet.

And of course with mum, Lyn and little sister Pippa.

Another wedding invite

Now, i may not know anyone getting married but i am a big fan of making wedding cards.

Its just something different from birthdays all the time and in my family and friends, i dont have many summer birthdays its mainly winter.

So this one was made using my new wild rose studio stamps. I think their designs are cute, and i realy like their people they make.

The paper is also from WRS. The sentiment was printed from my computer.

The flowers in the top right are made from punched out Dufex. I then added a purple pearl to match with the brides bouquet.

Bessie, Edward and Patch.

Hi everyone,
I dont have any cards today, but i plan to create some with my own characters.

Bessie is a little girl who loves to walk with her dog and spend days out doing different things, she dresses in vintage looking clothes, mainley 1950s. Her main feature: Her Ginger hair.

Edward is Bessies friend. He is yet to be discovered as i have mainly been working on Bessie. All i know is he has brown hair.

Patch is Bessies dog, he's a terrier/cross breed of some sort and has a patch on his left eye. H also likes to follow Bessie on her adventures.

Royal Wedding Card

This card is just bigger than a 6x6. I used the wild rose studio wedding bells paper and their stamps.

The corners were made witha old xcut die cut machine and the ribbon and bow were spares.

The sentiment was computer printed.

Spring Card 2

This  decoupaged design is from a joanna sheen cd rom. The card is pretty basic, but the image stands out. The flower in the top corner is metal, and has a green pearl in the middle.

My first Spring challenge card

Here it is, this is card 1 of my challenge.

Made using Rose garden paper for bunting, the blue paper is from forever friends pink parfait collection

the stamped image is from the cake shoppe collection.

For the table i punched a 3in scalloped circle out of white card and folded it in half before sticking the back to the card.

Then underneath i stamped Time For Cake. This is a perfect card for spring parties or birthdays and simple to make.

This weeks challenge

Well my challenge this week is to come up with 5 Spring themed cards of any occasion.
  I will upload them once i have finished them all off.

My own Weekly challenge

 Well, this week i will be starting my own weekly challenge. Each week i shall come up with a challenge, make the cards and show them on my blog and docrafts gallery and i want all my buddies and followers to tell me what they think.

   Starting with today, its a lazy, spring sunday and i made this card a little earlier....

This ia a Faye Whittikar decoupage sheet and sentiment from  {http://www.joannasheen.com/ }
I decoupaged the topper before creating a A5 size card. I then covered it with a plaid purple and green backing paper from a magazine and added a small layer of purple gingham down the edge.

             In the top left corner i added some pretty petals and then added pearls to the middle of them.

I used the For a special Sister sentiment {even though i dont have one!} and added that to the  bottom of the    card.

This card is a 5x7, Made with some scrapbook papers.The image is a Penny Black stamp {Ginger}  and the sentiment is written from the computer.

                                           The pearls are Kanban from my local craft shop.

Bon Voyage.

It will soon be the holiday season, so i thought i would make this girly travel card.

This card is a 5x7 and covered with My minds eye asparagus papers. The teared corners are also from the pack. I stamped a Penny black image and coloured in with promarkers.

The flowers are from my pretty petals boxes.The pearls were coloured in a metalic green to match.
                                      The Bon Voyage sentiment was written up on the computer.

The sun is up, the sky is blue....

Well its a sunny day, so i thought i would create a spring/easter card. This card shows pastel and bright colours. I made it using a DL card and then layering a yellow and white spotty background paper, before wrapping around some purple silk ribbon and adding the easter egg background paper as a smaller layer.
 Next i made 3 squares and cut them with a blade [victorian] before stamping on my 2 bears and decoupaging elements such as the cakes and the bunny-bear. Then i stamped the sentiment and made it looked distressed by shading it with chalk and going around all 3 square edges with a lavendar promarker.
Once i had stuck them on, i added two pink ribbon bows and and there, finished.

Mothers Day House Mouse card.

This is my first card added to my blog. It is a house-mouse design decopage sheet and both the backing paper and sentiment  is from the house mouse cd rom. {The decoupage is from the flower power collection and the cd rom is  from joanna sheen. } http://www.joannasheen.com/
