Birdsong by the Beach

Hi!

Today its sunny, and you can hear all the little birdsong.

I just read Krista's post on her Saturated Canary blog about the holiday at the beach house, and the SMASH page she made about simple days.I find her blog and post's very inspiring and her style. Im hoping to do a SMASH page about my time by the beach too once i get my camera out!

I have already been busy crafting, so i should have some projects ready to show soon.

Saturated Canary: Gone Fishing

Today's card is using one of the 10 NEW saturated canary digis. Luckily, i treated myself to 5 of them, and hope to show more when i've made them.

This uses, i got this one boys.

The papers are from my large 12x12 K and company book, using the seaside collection and the hawaian/ lotus flower collection.

This was a starfish metal charm i found in my charm box.

The image is coloured with promarkers, and the scenery with pencil, which doesnt show up quite as well on here.

Hello!

Today's post is my last live post for a couple of days as i will be on holiday, but hopefully, i will be able to pop by now and again.

Today's card is for a few different challenges, including:

For this card, i used Alberto's sketch from Magnolia INK.

 I added plenty of flowers, as well as a handbag charm.

The papers are Hot Off The Press soft nostalgia

I coloured Tilda goes shopping with promarkers, and then glossed with glossy accents

This is the inside. I used a sentiment from the papers and one of the other HOTP papers for behind.



Official Magnolia Challenge: Shape of magazine and spring colours

This creation is for the Officlal Magnolia  challenge. This week it was spring colours and the shape of the magazine, inspired by lasy years summertime magazine. I created a 18x8cm door hanger.

House mouse challenge: Photo inspiration HMFMC115

Good morning!

Well, inbetween making challenge cards, birthday cards and mothers day cards, i am busy with my SMASH books. Yes, My pink one arrived yesterday as well as the date stamper YAY! { I always wanted one when i used to go to the library!} and i have created my first page, but thats for another post....

So today, im sharing my card i have made for the house mouse and friends challenge. I was inpired by both the picture and the colours and created this.

Now, im sorry if you think my layers are'nt straight, thats because my trimmer broke halfway through making it, so we had an emergency drive to the craft shop.

The papers i used were from a magazine we got a while ago now, and the sentiment came from a Polka doodles stamp set, again from a magazine. The image was coloured with promarkers, and theres a strip of ribbon behind on the papers.

Thats all for now, i hope you like my card.

todays card isnt for any challenges, just a creation.

My SMASH book arrived yesterday and i cant wait to begin, im just not sure what to start with! And i've already ordered the pretty pink large book and the date stamper!

Anyway, my card used the Kaisercraft, Chantreuse collection, as well ad flowers from prima and wild orchid crafts.

My last post for today is about my Just magnolia, anything with option of stitching card.

I used dovecraft Fairytale papers, which are realy cute as they are kind of shabby, and earthy toned. I also used 2 new prince and princess stamps, tildas castle and tilda in ballet shoes.

Scrapbooking Digby : Part 1

This is a new part im going to do about scrapbooking.

For the past two years, ive been wanting to scrapbook my dog, Digby, as well as a scrapbook about my family, but ive never done it.

I take plenty of photos, but leave them on the computer, so i made a page up after looking at a scrapbook sketch and Creativity magazine.

The page is all about Digby in the garden, his first summer.

I used Kaisercrafts, Pink Gelato Papers and added a heart shaped doily from wild orchid crafts, card candy from craftwork cards and a house mouse stamp from Joanna sheen, of bunnies bouncing on the bed and having fun.
