HouseMouse365: Day31

Hello,

Today is my final card for January, and as in the UK this weekend its 'Big garden birdwatch' weekend, i decided to use a bird themed image.

This came from one of the cardmaking packs by Joanna sheen. 

The papers are by Nitwit collections, festive flowers. I avoided the christmasy themed papers and stayed with the plainer patterns which match the colours of the image perfectly.

I added the matching sentiment and some pearls to finish this 7x7 card.

Hello!

Wow, Day 30, nearly a whole month finished already!

For my card to day, i have used a happy hopper image. Now, this image is one of my most used because it's perfect for friends birthdays, because who hasn't done this when you were a kid? 

Normally, i paper piece the duvet and pillows, but because i've used quite patterned papers, i decided to colour it instead.

The papers are from a trimcraft pad, Serendipity.

I added some polka dot ribbon and bow, and a little sentiment tag.

Hi,

My card for today is one that im sure many mum's, or even grandma's would like to receive.

I used this sweet image of Amanda and Monica, colored with promarkers and die cut into one of my fancy rectangles.

Because the image doesn't have much in the way of colouring, i used a simple colour combo. These papers are from Potting shed by Nitwit collections and are perfect for anyone who likes paler colours or delicate patterns.

I added some large width lace, heart shaped doily, some flowers, pearl head pins, pearls and a sentiment to finish.

Hello,

Today's HM365 card features one of my newest stamps, Gumball.

I couldnt wait to get this image as i knew i could gloss the gum!

The papers on this are from Hey Cupcake! from Nitwit collections.

I used them for the lovely candy colours, and coloured my image with promarkers.

Mudpie, Amanda and Muzzy look like their having plenty of fun!

To finish, i added a 'To my friend on your birthday' sentiment.

Today's HouseMouse365 card features this sweet fishbowl image.

These images came from the house mouse cd rom on the digi stamp section.

I coloured them using promarkers. The papers are from the enchanted set at Nitwit collections.

I added a birthday sentiment to finish.

After a few days of having pink and quite girly cards today i have gone for a summery theme, because according to my calendar it is Australia Day.

I used another image from one of the cardmaking pads, as well as its matching sentiment and border strip.

The golden papers are from Hello Sunshine, a paper set by Nitwit collections.

I kept it quite bare, just adding some gems to finish.

Hello,

Today's HouseMouse365 card features an image of the mice blowing up balloons.

I coloured this image with promarkers. The papers are from the Basic Grey Vivienne collection.

To create my layout i die cut 3 smaller circles of different patterned papers and then added faux stitching to make hem stand out. I also added a strip of the striped paper too.

To finish, i added a simple happy birthday sentiment.

Hello,

Today's card is an easle featuring a decoupage.

For this card, i used the gruffies on a motorbike image. This is another of my favorite images, an could go for many occasions, i used it for an anniversary card.

The paper came from the Nitwit collections Manpants range, which i use quite a lot. Everything is matted on black card and i added a sentiment as the stopper.

I didnt use the sketch this week.

I coloured mine with promarkers. The papers are from the dovecraft Bloom and grow collection. I added a sentiment from buddly crafts and some flowers and ribbon to embellish.

Today's card features a fun decoupage image, suitable for anyone who loves to knit. 

I layered up the image and matted it on white card.

The papers are by Nitwit collections and are from the romance and roses set, which are suitable really for most themes.

I added green twine to bring out the wool on the image and dew drops as well as the sentiment from the sheet.

Hello,

I have an easle card to share today using an image from the Gruffies and happy hoppers cd rom of two hoppers baking.

Some of my favorite HM Images are baking ones.

I made this card, thinking it would be nice for maybe Mums or grandmas.

I used Nitwit collection Grin and bear it papers, which fit perfectly colour wise.

I also added the matching sentiment and some dew drops and a doily to embellish.

I coloured this image using promarkers.

The papers are from nitwit collections Grin and bear it range, all matted on white.

I added a doily, lace, ribbon , flowers, pearls and a sentiment as well as some little pearl stars around the image.

Hi,

Today i have a card for any coffee lovers.

This is a decopage image, one of my favorites actually, i just love their little faces!

This is a 7x7 card. Most of the decoupage images are far to big for 6x6, my usual card size, so most of my decopaged cards are either 7"or 8".

The papers are by Nitwit collections, Manpants set which come in for a lot of cards not just male.

I added blue dew drops and the sentiment from the sheet.

It's day 13 of my HouseMouse365 challenge and today i have a wintery card to share.

I chose the winter fun theme and decided on this cocoa image which i coloured with promarkers.

The papers are by Nitwit collections, Heart of christmas, which i matted on Kraft.

I kept the card simple, and just added the images matching sentiment to finish.

For this card i used the digi image, Genevieve. 

The papers are by Studio light, all matted on black.

To embellish, i added peach rose ribbon, grey dotty ribbon, flowers, lace, a doily and a sentiment to finish.

Hi,

After yesterdays bright and colourful decoupage card today i am going for plain, simple and nearly all white. Usually, the colourful images are the ones that appeal to me, but this one stood out.

This image came from the Cd Rom. I used the matching paper and matted onto a soft, pearlessent cream card.

I used two of the round images for the corners and added my own sentiment.

It's day 11 and today's card is all bright and cheery.

I have used another decoupage image, Fishbowl dive.

The papers are again by Nitwit collections, these are from Bumbleberry.

I added the matching sentiment from the sheet and added dew drops and a doily to embellish.

Hi,

Today's card is along the monochrome theme but with a bit of spotlight stamping thrown in. I created this card using the image Say cheese!, and coloured only the mouse, then along the bottom i used a few of the smaller mice from other stamps and stamp sets.

I coloured the mice, but not the camera, flower or cotton ball.

I matted everything on black and added a sentiment in the top corner.

Hi,

My card for Day 9 of my challenge features a gruffie decoupage.

I decopaged up the image and used Nitwit collections romance and roses papers to bring out the different colours. The sentiment, which says to a special mum came on the sheet.

I finished by adding my own little washing line using cocktail stickes and twine.

It's day 8 of my challenge and today's card is a get well card.

I don't use get well images that often but i do have a set of stamps which are useful, so i coloured up this little hopper, who isnt very happy.

I coloured it using a mix of Promarkers and spectrum noirs.

The paper's are from Nitwit collections, Hydrangia. I added ribbon, flowers, a doily, dew drops and a sentiment.

Hello,

It's day 7 of my HM365 challenge and today i have a card that i think describes what all of us do during January, working out and trying to keep fit after all that christmas food.

This is a decoupage image from one of the old decoupage sets, which i am trying to use up as i have every set and so many pages left.

The papers are by Nitwit collections and are from the time for tea set.

I added lavender dew drops and the matching sentiment from the page to finish.

Yes, Creative Inspirations is now a fortnightly challenge. 

For my card i used a image from Polka doodles Florabunda adult colouring Cd rom. I changed the size and coloured it using Spectrum noirs. I also added glitter to the flower centres. 

I added doilys and used a paper from dovecrafts Serendipity collection.

It's day 5 of my challenge and i have an anniversary card to share.

Again, i have used a topper from the cd rom for this card. I also used a smaller topper from the image sheet to embellish.

The paper's are from the lilacs collection at Nitwit collections and match beautifully with this image.

I added a sentiment to finish.

Today i have a card to share that features a beautiful stamp i got for christmas.

This image is called Marna and came from Crafts and me. I had never seen or heard of these images before, but i am a big fan now!

I created this card by using some papers by Studio light, something else which i got for christmas. I distressed the edges and went all out on embellishments.

I added lace, ribbon , rose ribbon, a doily, flowers, pearls and a pin.

I also added glitter to the fairies wings and added a sentiment to finish.

It's day 4 of House Mouse 365 and im back with another topper, this time it is from the House Mouse and friends section of the cdrom.

I printed out the image and matching paper, and kept the layout simple. I matted the paper twice on both kraft and white card, along with the topper and sentiment, whcih also came from the image sheet.

To finish, i added twine.

Today's card features a topper from the House Mouse and friends cdrom. This is one of my favorite floral images as it is quite simple.

I used the largest image and one of the smaller ones to embellish. I used Daisy, a collection by Nitwit collections, all matted on white and added a simple birthday sentiment to finish.

Today's card uses Teacup Mice. I bought this image while on holiday a few months ago.

I coloured it using Promarkers, my usual choice of marker.

The paper's are by Nitwit collections and are from the Manpants range.

Due to it being a male card, i kept it simple and just added a sentiment to finish.

House Mouse 365: Day1

Hello!

Happy New Year!

It's been a while since i last posted anything due to some family issues but i am back. This year, i have decided to challenge myself and use more of my House Mouse stash. So for 2016 i am doing My HouseMouse365, 1 house mouse card a day for a year. It's my own challenge that i have come up with. I have so many images both in stamp and topper form, some that i haven't used that much that i have decided to try and create a card a day. Hopefully it will inspire you to use your own stash more too.

So for Day1, i have created a Happy New Year card using the image Martini mice.

I decided to go for a monochrome colour scheme using some smaller A2 size cards i had left over. I cut the front panels from them and used them as layers. I also added some silver flake ribbon and a sentiment to finish. I kept the image uncoloured to match.

Well, that's day1 over. Come back tomorrow for the next card.
