Well it's the final day of june this year is going by so quickly!

I printed this topper from the Just for fun section of the cd rom, along with its matching paper.

I double matted on a green and white card. The only thing i have added is twine. The sentiment came from the topper sheet.

Another Gruffie card to share today using a topper sheet from the Gruffies and Hoppers cd rom. The paper came from a HouseMouse cd rom image but if you look carefully it matches the Picnic blanket.

I embossed a panel with dots and added it down the centre. I finished with a sentiment.

Today i have a card featuring the image of Mudpie, Amanda and Muzzy with gumballs. What better way to spend the day with friends than at a party?

As you may of seen in my post title, it is my Mum's birthday today and this is the easle card i made for her.

Her favorite card is an easle card so i created this one using paper's from first edition Love story as she likes the peachy/orangey checked paper.

I used this Happy hopper in the bath image as it also tied in with her gift.

I added flowers, a doily, sentiment and a verse to the bottom.

Hello,

Today's HM card features a Happy hopper image. I really like this image as its perfect for any little girls, or boys i guess if you colour it differently.

I coloured the image with promarkers, but paper pieced the duvet. I nearly always do that on this image as i think it makes it more interesting.

Today i have a red and white colour combo card to share. This topper and its paper came from the christmas cd rom. I had no red card so, i cut down some white and coloured the edges with a promarker which worked perfectly.

Finally i am back up to date. My christmas card today again features another house mouse and bird topper. I created this C5 card using gold mirror card and some paper which i printed from another topper on the cd rom. This paper matched well, and you will see the other card i made using the same paper soon.

Hello,

Today i have a christmas card to share thats not in traditional colours. I am more of a red/green/gold person but i love this image. I like birds and wildlife and thought this was sweet so i printed the topper and its matching tartan paper and created this card. I matted everything on some grey card.

Yes, i have made a christmas card! This is another part of my HM365 challenge, one week a month from June to November, im going to have a full week of christmas cards.

So, for this card i have printed a topper and its paper from the cd rom.

While having a look through my Gruffies and hoppers cd rom a few weeks ago, i saw this image and had to print it. It seems to be one i have over looked before but i couldnt wait to use it.

Creative Inspirations: Spring into Summer!

It's time for a new challenge over at Creative Inspirations and this fortnight our theme is

SPRING INTO SUMMER!

We want to celebrate that summer is here! 

If you follow my blog, you will have seen that recently i've been busy playing around with my new Altenew stamps, { if not, check the labels tab and have a look} so i created this card featuring the Peony Bouquet set.

I stamped my flowers in pinks and purples, and the smaller ones in yellow and orange to create a bold summery look. I added leaves and used one of the sentiments from the Beautiful Day set.

Beach Wedding Couple

Hello,

Recently we were asked for some wedding cards, and i designed the beach wedding one. I used this old image of Tilda and Edwin { still one of my favorite Magnolia images} and used one of the old seascapes behind it.

I coloured my topper with promarkers. The papers are from Crafts and You's Garden Wedding collection. I distressed them and matted on white before adding a doily. To embellish, i added some cheesecloth, pearl sprigs, lace, flowers and a starfish charm.

Altenew: Beautiful Day

Hello,

Yay! Our new Altenew stamps arrived on Saturday so i managed to have the whole weekend playing with them. Luckily, we managed to get a hold of Peony bouquet and Beautiful day sets. I will be showing more cards i have made sometime this week so keep a look out.

Today though, i have this 5x5 card to share using the Beautiful day set.

I matted some DCWV papers onto my card base, then added the doily. I stamped the Beautiful day sentiment into a die cut circle ad added it to the center. I stamped my flower and leaves and fussy cut them, then added them around the middle.

Altenew Creations:Post 2

Hi,

Im back again today to share some more Altenew creations. In my first Altenew post {Here} i showed a lot of cards using Vintage flowers but today i have a card to show using the Painted Butterflies set.

This is a 5x7 card. I created a panel to go down the centre and stamped my butterflies all over in purples and oranges. I like the bold colours together.

I added it on foam pads to my card as well as a vellum strip down the centre before adding my sentiment.

My second card features another stamp from the Vintage flowers set. For this 5x5 card, i used the branch and the cherry blossoms and created this simple design. The image itself is printed in brown and 2 shades of pink.

The sentiment came from the Painted Butterflies. I simply matted my design onto black.

Altenew Inspiration Challenge

This is my first entry into an Altenew challenge.

I used the inspiration photograph to create this spring/summer wedding card.

I used Vintage flowers for this card, and kept to the colours.
