Christmas with the Cuties: Add some holly

Hello,
It is time for a new challenge over at Christmas with the cuties and this months theme is....

ADD SOME HOLLY

For this challenge, we are sponsored by Sasayaki glitter who kindly gave us images to use.
I used the image Christmas roo for my card and rather than going down the traditional red green route, I chose these pretty turquoise and pink papers by Buddly crafts.
My image is coloured with Promarkers. I added ribbon, some gems and stamped a holly image, again colouring with Promarkers and fussy cut it.
My sentiment came from a stamping bella stamp.

I hope you come and join us. We can't wait to see your creations!

Altenew: Be a Dreamer

Hello,
Today I have an Altenew/ dylusions card to share using one of my favourite stamp sets, Happy dreams. I love this stamp set because of all the dreamy sentiments and the pretty floral shadow and feather stamps. There's even the moon and the star's which are beautiful inked in gold or silver. Some of the sentiments featured on set are new year based but the set is perfect for all year around.

For my card (6x6) I inked my background, spraying polished jade, after midnight and lemon zest dylusion ink sprays. I then used the floral shadow silhouette stamps and feather stamp in black. I die cut a circle and stamped the large Be a Dreamer sentiment and placed it in the centre of the floral/feather designs. I finished by adding sequins to finish.

Little Boy, Little Girl

Hello,
I have another two cards to share today, (haven't I been busy?) Featuring two images from one of the Saturated canary subscription package. I'm a bit behind on using them as I've been catching up with challenges and getting things ready for fairs. These feature the two baby images, coloured with Promarkers.

Both of these cards have the same layout, just in different colour ways. My first is the boy. These papers are from an old LOTV/nitwit paper pad, all matted on cream. I finished with flowers and a sentiment.

The girl card features papers from a DCWV stack, matted on white. Again, coloured with Promarkers and finished with flowers and sentiment.

Inked Spring Daisy

Hello,
Today i have a card to share that i made using the Altenew spring daisy stamp set {and a borrowed sentiment from the dahlia set too}.
I created my background using Dylusions ink sprays. Now for this i used Tangerine, Bubblegum pink and lime green. Please don't quote me on colours as im still new to these inks and haven't quite remembered them all yet.
I matted my inked background, once dry, onto black card. I stamped the spring daisy images, masking to create a little bunch and added the stems. To finish i stamped the sentiment.

Loveypetsabella

Hello,
Today's second card features the Stamping bella image LoveMyPetsABella. I received this for christmas and this is the first time i have gotten to use it. It always reminds me a bit of me, cuddling up to my pets.
I used the sketch from the Seven Hills crafts monthly challenge as my base. The papers are from First edition Sweet Nothings, my new favorite. All the patterns are so pretty and you dont have to use it just for valentine or anniversary's.
I stamped a sentiment from another stamping bella stamp and added pearls to finish.

Decades: 60's inspired

Hello,
Today I have a card to share that I have made for this months challenge over at lili of the valley, which is to feature a female.
I've been waiting to get my hands on the new decades inspired digi images since they were previewed late last month and I now finally have some!
My first make using my new images features this 60's themed image. I chose this image because if there was a decade I could visit it would be the sixties, just for the fashion. I  coloured my image with Promarkers. I used Nitwit collections happy too papers all matted on white and created different size circles to echo the pattern on the dress. I added some flowers, dew drops and a sentiment to finish.
Challenges:
My favourite card bases are square because I find a square is the perfect shape to show off embellishments and layers well and lots of stamps fit well on square bases too.
