Great Journey

Hello,
I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and received some great crafty gifts.
Today I have a quick card to share that I made using my prizes from being a runner up in this year's Cardmaker of the year. The prizes all came from Crafting.co.uk so I bought some dies and stamps. I'm not big on using dies as my main focus on a card but when I saw this butterfly flourish, I had to have it. I love anything featuring butterflies.
I double matted a paper from Anna Marie Designs blissful green paper pad, die cut two ovals and the butterfly flourish, stamped the sentiment (which I chose as part of my prize from a rare earth set) and added ribbon and a bow to finish.

I'd like to enter this into the following:

I'd also like to wish everyone a very Happy New Year!

Christmas Kiss

Hello,
Today I have a card to share using this sweet image from The Paper Shelter. This is Any trick for a Christmas kiss.
The image seems to have a 60s/70s style to it so I used these bright dovecraft Christmas papers, matted on white.
I coloured my image with Promarkers and added ribbon and a large snowflake to finish.

I'd like to wish everyone a merry Christmas and a happy 2018!

Shabby Chic Birthday

Hello,
Today I have a card to share that I made for my aunt's birthday last month. Rather than my usual style which is cute and fancy with a coloured in image, I created a card were the flowers are the main focus.
The papers are from an Anna Marie Designs blissful teal paper pad, distressed and matted on white. I die cut two hearts and stamped a sentiment inside one of them. I added ribbon and die cut a doily and added flowers and die cut leaves then finished with pearls.

The Paper Shelter: Christmas

Hello,
It is time for a new challenge over at The Paper Shelter and this challenge lasts for three weeks.
Our challenge is Christmas and for my easle card I used one of the newer Christmas images, Flight plan, coloured with Promarkers.
When I saw this image I knew exactly what papers I wanted to use, the dovecraft Christmas post which is full of airmail style papers. To embellish I added wooden word tiles.

Whimsy Penguins

Hello,
Today I'm sharing one of my Christmas cards, so my friends and family will all receive a version of this, but with a different image.

This year I'm using the cute whimsy penguins. My colours are purple, green, burgundy and ivory, matted on gold. Each card has a different image and embellishments.

For this one I used one of the digi stamps, this one comes with another in a set. I coloured it with Promarkers.
Embellishment wise, I used pine cones, some burgundy and purple roses and some berries along with gold leaves. I then finished with a sentiment.

Challenges:
I love ALL animals but this time I chose penguins. I love how each penguin seems to have their own personality.
