House Mouse: Baking Mouse Apron Card

Hello,
Today i wanted to share this card that i made for the House Mouse and friends challenge, which is anything with the option of Lets Eat.
I created this apron shaped card, using a template from a magazine.
I also used papers that came with the template.
I die cut a doily circle, cut in half and then die cut a circular peice of the floral and did the same to create a pocket.
I created a pocket so that i could add the circular image of Mudpie in a cupcake case. I also added baking mouse Amanda in the bottom corner. I coloured both with promarkers.
I punched holes in the top to create the apron strings and finished by adding lace.

Id like to enter this into:

Ruby Frou Frou

Hello,
Last week I was having a look at challenges for some inspiration and found the picture inspiration over at The Card Concept.

I loved the colours and the beautiful dress and used this as my inspiration, so, using one of the new Ruby digi stamps from polka doodles, I created my own version.
I coloured her with Promarkers and added sequins to her dress.
Luckily, I have a paper pad from The Works that features blue/pink papers so I used this and matted on white.
I added lace, flowers and a sentiment to finish.

I'd like to enter this into:

Hello,
In recent weeks I've become a fan of the digi stamps at Polka Doodles, especially Winnie. When we bought some digi's, I came up with creating a large 8x8 twisted easel card. I merged three Winnie images together to create my image, colouring them with a mix of spectrum noirs and Promarkers. The image is 6x6.
I used Nitwit collections friendship papers, matted on white and light yellow. I added a doily, lace, flowers and a sentiment to finish.

The Paper Shelter: Birthday

Hello,
It's time for a new challenge over at The Paper Shelter and this weeks challenge is Birthday. Easy right?
For my card I used the beautiful enchanted butterflies. I love butterflies, I even have butterfly wallpaper in my room so this image really stood out to me.
I coloured the image with Promarkers.
The papers came from an old wild rose studio paper pad, matted on white.
I added a lovely butterfly die cut design up the side, by tattered lace, and some flowers and finished with a sentiment.

Challenges:
For me its Promarkers. Although my colouring varies between Spectrum noirs and Promarkers, I always tend to go back to Promarkers. These are the first markers I ever had for crafting and I've continued to use them, getting better at shading and blending.

House Mouse Multiple Circles

Hello,
I'm back today to share my second card for the House mouse challenge which this fortnight was anything goes or multiple images. As I mentioned in my last post featuring my first card for this challenge, this really inspired me to search my stamps. I've really enjoyed using more than one image.
I used two of my favourites on this card, the first being part of the image from the stamp, flower arranging and the second being this little cutie, Mudpie holding a flower. This is only a small image but it has always been a favourite.
I coloured them both with Promarkers.
I used my favourite circle dies, matting them on orange.
The paper came from a magazine freebie and is actually embossed with the folder that came with it but that isn't very visable on the photo.
I finished with one of the mousy sentiments and added some pink twine.

I hope you've enjoyed my mousy make!

House Mouse Birthday Wishes

Hello,
The challenge at House mouse and friends this fortnight is use multiple images, something I don't always think to do yet have plenty of images that can be mixed and matched together. This theme inspired me and I got to finding out stamps that would go together straight away.
I created this birthday card using one of my favourite larger images, mice with cupcake (and a full belly!). Then used two of the smaller birthday themed stamps, coloured with Promarkers.
Nearly all my favourite House mouse images include one of the mice with cake so I had to make a birthday card featuring one of my favourites.
The paper, matted on Brown, came from a 8x8 paper pad from The Works. I added ribbon, a bow and a sentiment to finish.
