Gruffies Seed Easle Box

Hello,

Its my birthday tomorrow so i thought id better pop this card on today.

Today i have a card to share that i made over the weekend featuring one of my favorite Gruffie images from House Mouse Designs.

I created an easle box, an easle card on top of a box.

I made the box using centura pearl card and my crafters companion score board.

The card is matted in the same leaf green. I used Crafters companion Summer breeze papers and added white ribbon, pearls and flowers and diecut leaves to embellish.

The Relax, its just gardening sentiment came from one of my Joanna sheen House mouse stamp sets.

I diecut the image into an oval and coloured with promarkers.

As you can see from the picture below, im using the box to contain seeds, which would make a nice gift for a gardening friend.

As you like it: Favorite animal and why

Im an animal lover so choosing one was quite hard, but eventually i chose bears, mainly a panda.When i was younger i watched a documentary that mentioned how pandas were on their way to becoming endangered and i became so obsessed that for christmas my parents bought me a panda adoption.Seeing what so many animals are going through made me adopt lots from Lions, donkeys, dogs and now a Koala. It even led to me getting a Blue Peter badge when i was 11.

This week I got out a few stamping bella images and had a play.

I used this bella image with heart balloons to create a birthday card. This image is so versatile, it could be used for Valentine's too.

I coloured it with spectrum noirs and matches to prima marketing Georgia blue papers. I stamped the matching sentiment and added ribbon, lace, flowers and pearls.

Happy valentines day everyone. Its not really something i celebrate but i decided to share a card i had made featuring this sweet house mouse stamp.

I coloured my image with promarkers and matched with Prima papers.

I added lace, ribbon, pearls and flowers along with a sentiment.

Whimsy Kangaroo

 

Over at whimsy stamps, a special 'love for australia'  digi set has been made featuring five animals.

I had to buy it and for my first card used the kangaroo and Joey image.

Coloured with promarkers. I added a matching sentiment from the set and used crafters companion summer breeze papers. I added pearls and flowers.

Altered Fairy House

 

Hello,

This is a fairy house I made while doing some mixed media projects.

I used papers to decorate the insides and added lace in the edges. A lot of the embellishments came from a craftbox box.

I added fairy charms, stars, butterflies, little bottles of fairy dust, letter tiles, fairy and unicorn figures and an mdf fairy door.

Toadstool Fairy

This card features one of the beautiful fairy stamps by Molly Harrisson from Crafters Companion.

I coloured my image with promarkers and matched with crafters companion summer breeze papers, { my favourites at the moment!}

I created an easle, using one of the sentiments from another of the stamps as my stopper, I added a wreath of flowers and ribbon. There is also glitter on the wings.

For me it has to be warm. I love using pinks and oranges, especially during these colder months as it sets me up for the spring/summer.

Grocery List

Hello,

Today i have a card to share featuring the image Grocery List from The Paper Shelter.

Some of my favorite images come from TPS as i find them quite unique and sweet and i was lucky enough to be part of their DT for a while.

I coloured this one with specrtum noirs and matched with some old Ppaer asylum papers. The banner and LOVE tag also came from the paper pad.

I finished with ribbon and pearls.
