Challenge Post

 

Hello,

 I have a challenge post today with a couple of cards to share. My first is a card I made using Cool skater, an image from The Paper Shelter. I know when I think of making a sporty card, I think of making a male themed card, but I decided to go down the girly route. I coloured my image using Promarkers. The papers are from Nitwit collections Authentiqe collection, all matted on navy. I kept the card simple and added a sentiment to finish.

Challenges:

Passion for Promarkers: sporting occasions (skateboarding)

 

My second card is a little different,. Rather than using a image, I used a sentiment to create this pretty birthday card. This one came from Lili of the valley. I printed off the sentiments and created a shaker card.

The papers are from Anna Marie Designs blissful pink collection. I added pink lace, ribbon a large bow and some pearls.

I'm a day late with this post after computer issues but I'm back to share my card for this fortnights Creative Inspirations challenge. Our theme this fortnight is spots and / or stripes.

For my card, I used a digi from Di's digi downloads, coloured with Promarkers. I used some old Doodlebug papers, all matted on white. I added some pink ribbon and a bow and a sentiment from LOTV.

Challenges:

As you like it: favourite way to use ribbon and why 

I always use my ribbon and add a bow to most cards. I love using ribbon to make bows as I think it adds a pretty, feminine feel to my a cards.

Christmas with the Cuties: clean and simple

It is time for a new challenge over at Christmas with the cuties and this months challenge is Clean and simple. 

For this challenge, we were given sponsor images from Crafty sentiments. I used this image called Welcome snowman.

I embossed white card with a snowflake folder, added to a silver mat, die cut my topper into a circle and another mat in silver and finished with a sentiment.

Today i have a card to share using another Di's Digi downloads image. This one i have had for quite a while and i cant quite remember the real title but it think it may be Izzy and her cart.

I coloured the image using promarkers. The papers are from the Nitwit range Romance and roses collection. I added pearls and a sentiment to finish.

Hello,

Today I have a card to share using one of the images from my Di's digi downloads prize. I saw this cute image and had to have it. This image is great coloured in natural colours or as baby toys like this one.

The papers are from Nitwit collections stuffed love collection. I added the Welcome to the world sentiment and two pale pink starts in the corner.

The Paper Shelter: ribbons and buttons

It is time for the A Teams challenge over at TPS and this week our challenge is ribbons and buttons.

For my card, I used the sweet Just me!, coloured with Promarkers. 

They layout for this card is similar to a card I made earlier in the year using circles. The papers are from the dovecraft Serendipity pack. I sometimes struggle with these papers as they are large patterns, but using the circular style layout, you just highlight the patterns. 

I added buttons and a bow as well as a sentiment to finish.
