Hello,
It's been a while since I shared a Puppy tail post so I thought I'd share a winter post.
In the UK this past week we've had quite a bit of snow, and where we live its the deepest its been in about eight years.
It was the first time George had ever seen snow so deep and he couldn't wait to get out and play.
As well as running through it and playing, he also likes to try and eat it, every time he goes out.
Because he is still quite young, his walks have either been short or none due to the deep snow. But he has been playing indoors which is important to keep him mentally stimulated.
Some of the fun games he's been playing are hide and seek, find the biscuit and of course learning new tricks or just keeping up with obedience.
What have your dogs thought of the snow?
He is adorable Natalie. Bowie and Bumble loved the fresh snow on Thursday but we had the freezing rain overnight so they didn't enjoy it at all on Friday because it cracked underfoot and they were then up to their tummies. We kept their walks short. It's thawing today so we have done our usual 3.5 miler which they enjoyed, sniffing out pheasants, rabbits and deer...business as usual!! xx

ReplyDeleteGeorge is so cute. It is so much fun to see how they react to the snow when you take them outside after a snowfall. Our dog is a northern breed, so wears a full thick coat of hair year round, so the cold and snow don't bother her, she actually was rolling in it on Friday. We throw snowballs and she runs to catch them in her mouth, great exercise for all of us!! Love Georges sweet little face, full of expression!

George is adorable Natalie, I'm glad he likes the snow - our dog used to refuse to go out in it, he would dash out quickly when he was desperate but wouldn't go for a walk or anything.
