Hello!
Today i have 3 cards to share, my other post will be on later.
Over the weekend i was busy playing with my Altenew Spring Daisy stamps and created these two cards.

This is my first card. I used the Spring Daisy and the Vintage flowers stamps to create this A6 tent fold card. The way i stamped it makes it look like there is a mirror reflection. I made a banner across the middle and stamped on of the sentiments from the daisy set in the middle.

Id like to enter this into the following:
Supplies for this card:
  • White card
  • Spring Daisy and Vintage flowers Altenew stamp sets

My second card for today again uses the daisy set, with the smaller flower images coming from the Vintage flowers. I kept my colour combo to orange and black for this one and kept the card very simple by following the sketch.

Altenew at Christmas

Hello,
Yes, i have a second Altenew post today again for the Ultimate bloghop, this time featuring the Beautiful Day stamp set. I decided to try using the flower for a christmas card, so i came up with this design. I made a card like this for a competition a few months ago but it was a plain birthday card.
I matted gold mirror card with some a background paper from a christmas pad i had, then die cut a circle so you can see into the card. I stamped my flowers and leaves and cut them out before arranging them around the circle.
I added sequins to finish and stamped a sentiment inside.

Supplies to make this card:
  • White 6x6 square card base:  My usual card choice
  • Gold mirror card: A must for festive cards
  • Christmas paper pad: I used a first edition one here but any would do
  • Altenew Beautiful day stamps
  • Mix of dew drops and versafine ink: One of the dew drop inks i used is a sparkly red which looks great as the top layer.
  • Christmas sentiments: The one i used is from Lili of the Valley.
  • Sequins

Bloom with Altenew

Hello!
The weather here isn't great this morning so a lot of the photos i took had to be deleted which is why i dont have as many to show as usual, plus my connection is slow :[

Anyway, my card to share today is for the big Altenew bloghop which is combined with 18 challenge blogs. I really enjoyed hopping around and getting some ideas, plus finding some new challenges i can join in with.

For this card, { which is A6 in size} i embossed some white card with my favorite floral embossing folder. I used the Dahlia's stamp set for this card and stamped the sentiment onto vellum. I then stamped my flower and leaves and cut them out. To finish, i added some sequins.

I never used to like doing clean and simple cards, im much better at fussy and fancy with quite a few embellishments but with the Altenew stamps it's really easy, plus there are always plenty of ideas to find on Pinterest. I have a board dedicated to Altenew cards that you should visit.

So for this card i used:
  • White card { Both for the base card and the embossed layer as well as to stamp on}
  • Floral embossing folder { I cant remember which brand this one is but it is my favorite, plus it' only A6 in size, perfect for these cards}
  • Altenew Dahlia stamp set. { Large flower image and large leaf}
  • Mix of dew drop and versafine inks. { I know there not Altenew, but i am still fairly new to this way of stamping and these inks work well it's just matching shades that you have to try and work out}
  • Sequins. Sequins have become a new must in my embellishment box as they always look good with these stamps and style of cards.

Creative Inspirations: Anything goes

Hello
It is time for a new challenge at creative inspirations and this fortnights theme is....

Anything goes with an optional sketch.

This time I didn't use the sketch. I created this tent fold 6x6 by matting some embossed wood effect card from a DCWV stack on black.
I've become a BIG fan of Altenew stamps over the past few months so I used the peony bouquet set. I stamped a sentiment, originally from a stamping bella stamp, onto vellum and wrapped it around before adding my fussy cut flowers and some sequins to finish.
Below are some more photos.

I'm hoping to share more makes soon as I'm a bit behind with cardmaking due to looking after our new pup.

Happy Birthday Bronte!

  Hello, Today i have a card to share featuring my favourite characters Bella and Bronte! I coloured my image with promarkers and matched to...
